The first session of Legal Committee of URE Club took place

On October 7, 2010 the first meeting of the Legal Committee of Ukrainian Real Estate Club took place (hereinafter - Committee). The members of the Committee have discussed the following draft regulations: Draft Law of Ukraine «On amending some laws of Ukraine (concerning the protection of creditors' rights and consumers of financial services)»; draft order of Ministry of the regional development and building «On Approval of the Interim order of adoption in the operation of the completed construction of private houses farmsteads, cottages and houses with outbuildings and houses built without a permit for construction works».

According to the results of discussion, the Committee generally welcomed the reviewed drafts mentioned regulations, and in the same time identified defects which, according to participants of the Committee should be adjusted.

«During the meeting, Committee's participants have achieved a consolidated position on the norms of draft regulations, which most significantly affect the development of the property market. Joint discussion allowed us not only critically reflect on the proposed projects, but also to make detailed proposals for their improvement. Focused work in this direction - is a necessary condition for the formation of a transparent legal framework in the country», - said Vladislav Kysil, Partner of Law Firm KPD Consulting, chairman of the Legal Committee of Ukrainian Real Estate Club.

As a result of session of the Committee and identifying the most important amendments to the draft, the Committee's opinions were sent to authors, reflecting the Committee's position and containing proposals for improving the drafts reviewed.

According to Sergei Gaydaychuk, President of the Ukrainian Real Estate Club, Club pays considerable attention to the work of the Legal Committee. «This is our contribution to the establishment of clear rules of the game, allowing operating effectively on the market. We thank all who participated and will participate in the activities of the Committee. Our work in this area, that is coordinated with the authors of regulations, will be continued», - he concluded.
