According to the award Major European cities and regions of the future 2016/17, held by Foreign Direct Investment Magazine, published by Financial Times, Kyiv was recognized as the top European city in terms of cost-effectiveness.

The participants of MIPIM-2016 noted the interest of international investors to Ukraine. Volodymyr Mysak, Director of Capital Markets of DTZ Ukraine, says: “According to the results of the exhibition this year, investors are interested in Ukraine, but far not everyone is ready to take risks of our domestic market”. – “Institutional investors can understand rise and fall of the economy, as well as the cycles, but it is hard for them to accept the geopolitical risk. Consequently, the most active international players that are willing to consider the possibility of investing in Ukraine are private companies and investors, who are more tolerant to possible risks”.
