On Friday, February 2, URE Club members have attended a meeting with Hiroki Matsuura, Director, Chief Designer and Architect of MAXWAN + MASA Architects.
The architect told about implementation of complex projects, work with various materials and presented his the most outstanding projects. Speaker emphasized the importance of integration of the project's architecture and the general concept of the city. There is a need to consider environmental architectural features and adapt them to the general idea.
Hiroki Matsuura also shared the experience of establishing a dialogue with inhabitants. According to the architect, this is an important part of the project.
"We have meetings with inhabitants for talking and to consider opinions each other. It is usually very difficult to find a way to make everybody happy. That’s why we always have to choose certain direction which probably satisfy the people. But the city also plays an important role. Because city can demands to private developers what they have to follow if you want to develop", - tells Hiroki Matsuura.
All guests had the opportunity to communicate personally and ask questions to the architect after the meeting.
