Business Ombusman Council's Recommendations
27 July URE Club hosted a meeting with Deputy Business Ombudsman Tatiana Korotka who represented a package of recommendations addressed to Ukrainian Government aimed to reduce corruption risks in the construction industry and create favorable environment to attract foreign investors.

- Access to information on urban planning, architecture and planning of territories
- Share contribution for territorial infrastructure development (Doing Business)
- State building standards and sanitary regulations
- Land issues
- Postal addresses assignment (Doing Business)
Abuse of authority in state architecture and construction control and supervision
- Failure to follow the terms of registration permits
- Abuse of authority in civil and architecture control
- Difficulties in obtaining a proper category of construction object and use of declarative principle in getting a construction permit
Transparency and public control
- Public procurement related to construction
- Better legislation on procurement to implement Ukrainian obligations in the context of association agreement with EU and better business terms participation
- Discharge of commitments on behalf of partners/introduction of evaluation of fiscal risks
