According to the European Commission, buildings are responsible for 40% of the total energy consumption in Europe, while two thirds of this energy is spent on residential buildings. Obviously, energy efficiency and energy saving is a global trend, which is gaining momentum from year to year. In Ukraine, despite the objective need to switch to more rational engineering and construction technologies, developers show an insular interest in energy efficiency ideas, however some progress in recent years is quite evident.
