Ukrainian Real Estate Club held the first in 2010 business breakfast for members of the Club

The first in 2010 business breakfast for members of the Ukrainian Real Estate Club took place on March 17 in the restaurant «Turgenef». This event marked the beginning of business breakfasts and lunched to promote closer communication between real estate players and raised to discuss the most critical and exciting questions for companies that are members of the Club.
The topics of the first business breakfast in 2010 were forecasts and expectations of members of the Club for the development of the real estate market, as well as companies' plans for 2010. Their vision of the real estate market expressed by the representatives of companies:

During business breakfast were raised questions about the legislative innovations governing the real estate market, search for alternative sources of funding for real estate, discussed the complexity of the work on the Ukrainian market of international companies, as well as problems hampering the development of the construction industry as a whole.


On the funding strategy of real estate by Erste Bank said Mikhail Merkulov, Managing Director of Immorent. In his view the crisis period is the best time for financing real estate, but even in this case, the preference of creditors often given to international rather than local companies.


During the discussion of key issues real estate club members and noted the positive impact of the crisis in the industry. «As a result of crisis developers of one project are gone. The market remained the company for which the development business is consciously selected», - said Oksana Markarova, president of ITT Invest.


According to Vladislav Kisil, partner law firm KPD Consulting, a member of the organizing committee of Ukrainian Real Estate Club: «A new political regime in the country brings with it new rules of the game in the Ukrainian property market. It must be pointed attention of the new team, who came to power, the problems and issues of the real estate market. This is confirmed in particular the signing by the President of the adopted amendments to the law on property registration. And land rights, and rights to property will, starting in 2012, registering a specially created body under the auspices of the Ministry of Justice».
