Supertall building in Pudong district of Shanghai, China - Shanghai Tower is still under construction but in the beginning of August it has reached the top level. After completion of the construction the tower will be the highest building in Pudong district surpassing just Jin Mao Tower and Shanghai World Financial Center. In accordance with the project the height of the building will be 632 meter – it is third in the list of the world tallest buildings. The most interesting objects of Shanghai, Hong Kong and Macau are included into programme of the URE Club business tour to China which will be held from 12th till 19th of October, 2013.
The property market of China is famous all over the world for its records and large scaled projects. More than 50% of all commercial property buildings are concentrated in China. According to CBRE research, Chinese companies plan to launch 16.8 mln sqm of shopping and entertainment centers. Here they are building the largest shopping mall in the world New Century Global Center (GLA 1,7 million sqm) as well as Shanghai Tower with 632 m of height.
Upon its completion in 2014, the building will stand approximately 632 metres (2,073 ft) high and will have 121 stories, with a total floor area of 380,000 m2. At the time of its topping out in August 2013, the Shanghai Tower was the tallest building in China and the second-tallest in the world, surpassed by Sky Tree in Tokyo (634m) and the Burj Khalifa in Dubai (828m). However Chinese developers aren’t satisfied with what has already been achieved. In 2015 they are going to complete the building of the Ping An Financial Center in Shenzhen city which will surpass the Shanghai Tower and then in 2016 it will be exceeded by height by India Tower in Mumbai.
The URE Club business tour programme includes Super brand Mall (Shanghai) – 13 storeys shopping mall with total area of about 250 thousand sqm being a flagman among the objects of Shanghai Kinghill Limited and possessing the prestigious awards such as Famous Chinese Business Brand 2005 and China Best Shopping Center Progress Award 2006. Also delegates will visit Shanghai Time Square - one of the best shopping centers in Shanghai located in the prospective business district of the city. The total area of the object is more than 51 ths sqm. Another shopping mall is Shanghai IFC Mall with total area of 550 thousand sqm. Complex includes three towers, built around the large public square and consists of shopping mall, hotel and restaurants. In addition the programme includes – Shanghai Urban Planning Center and Shanghai World Financial Center.
The Shanghai World Financial Center is a supertall skyscraper located in the Pudong district of Shanghai, China. It was designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox and developed by the Japanese Mori Building Company. It is a mixed-use skyscraper, consisting of offices, hotels, conference rooms, observation decks, and ground-floor shopping malls. Park Hyatt Shanghai is the tower's hotel component, comprising 174 rooms and suites. Occupying the 79th to the 93rd floors, it is the second-highest hotel in the world, surpassing the Grand Hyatt Shanghai on the 53rd to 87th floors of the neighboring Jin Mao Tower.
Business tour will last from 12th till 19th of October 2013. In addition to the most famous Chinese property objects the delegates of the trip will meet with representatives of development, design and investment organizations of China. They also will be able to extend their business contacts and interchange experience with foreign colleagues.
