The first meeting of the Ukrainian Real Estate Club took place on November 13th, 2008 in the conference hall of Vozdvizhensky Hotel. The event consisted of 3 parts: presentation of the Club's concept and idea, round-table meeting on the subject “World credit crunch and the Ukrainian real estate market” and the informal part where all participants could communicate in a comfortable atmosphere. The event was attended by representatives of development and consulting companies, construction organizations, landlords companies, financial and law companies; among them KDD Group, FIM Group, Kiev Investment Group, 1849 PLC, Deol Partners, Renaissance Capital, Dolphin Strategy, IntegralBub, Corporate Property Investment, European Future Group, Evo Development, MTN, Gerz, Invest House, Mistral Capital, Silver Centre, KPD Consulting, Colliers, Knight Frank, ÑÂRE, DTZ, JLL, UTG, law firm Centre Prava, Ukrainian Land Unity and others.

The meeting was opened with the presentation of the Ukrainian Real Estate Club as a new foundation on the real estate market developed for communications, cooperation and development of professional advancement, creation of new business opportunities. The key goal and task of the Club is communication and cooperation organization between real estate companies’ representatives, fundamental and civilized basis formation for the Ukrainian real estate market development, opportunities to reach new business results, organization of pleasant and effective pastime.
The foundation of the Club is the initiative of Sergey Gaydaychuk (DTZ), Olga Solovei (1849PLC), Nikolay Tsvirkun, Yulia Lyashenko (FIM Consulting Plus), Alexander Mamedov (²CC Stolytsa).
The speakers of the round-table were Sergey Olekseenko, Vice-President, Renaissance Capital, Alexander Mamedov, Managing Director, ICC Stolytsa, Daniil Vladov, the Head of Commercial real estate department Jones Lang LaSalle, Vladimir Bandura, the Head of Land Department, DTZ, Stanislav German, the Head of industrial and warehouse real estate department, Knight Frank. The results of the discussion are presented in a separate press-release and rexpresses opinion of the meeting guests as to the situation on the Ukrainian real estate market.
The Ukrainian Real Estate Club indends to organize regular events and meetings.
The Ukrainian Real Estate Club intends to hold meetings on a regular basis. Since 2009 the meeting will take place monthly.
