Ukrainian Real Estate Club (URE Club) presents its annual report. During this year the company held 32 local and international events, as well as attracted 25 new members represented by leading real estate companies.
Among the largest events hosted by URE Club were Forum for shopping malls and retailers NEWCOMERS and EEA Real Estate Forum and Project Awards 2016.
Other than that, URE Club held various real estate conferences, round-table discussions involving authorities, as well as practical meetings and workshops, I annual Awards for Real Estate Journalists, II Independent Audit of Sales Offices of Residnetial Complexes, informal netoworking meetings and Legal Committees. The latter (Committees) serves as a channel to influence and advocate interests of developers and entrepreneurs through laws and legislative system of the country. Thus, as a results of Committee session on Commercial apartment buildings held in February the recommendations and amendmends made by the members of the comittee were took into consideration and submitted. In April the case study of the Committee were presented by its co-chairman at the II GR Forum. In addition, this December there were presented concepts of implementing escrow mechanism for contractual relationship regarding real estate sale/purchase in Ukraine.
It is worth mentioning the work of URE Club, its members and professional organizationtions such as Business Ombudsman Council, TI International as to promoting anticorruption initiative aimed to improve invesmtnet image of the industry and attract interest of the foreign investors.
The intenrational activity of URE Club this year includes the participation of Ukrainian real estate players at the international events held by URE Club strategic partner Europaproperty.com in Warsaw and Romania, where they had an opportunity to speak, took place in the Intenrational Awards as nominees and jury members, as well as promote Ukrainian real estate market. Also, as part of intenrational work, URE Club held business tour to Nordic countries mainly Denmark and Sweden, where Ukrainian developers met with leading world-known real estate companies and visited best-in-class commercial and residential projects.
URE Club is a professional real estate organization aimed to consolidate local and foreign experts and decision makers with global mission to drive Ukrainian real estate market and improve its investment attractiveness and perception by international real estate players.
