On 24 - 28 of May a delegation of Ukrainian real estate players, headed by the Ukrainian Real Estate Club was in a business tour in the Austrian capital Vienna. Ukrainian delegation was formed by representatives of companies Nivki City, Ukrbudkontrakt, BEITEN BURKHARD, Raiffeisen Evolution and URE Club.
As part of the business of the tour was scheduled to visit the international real estate exhibition REAL VIENNA 2011, Top Executive Cocktail Event for the top management of participating companies and visitors of the exhibition, organized at the Town Hall, meeting with top management of the Austrian real estate development and investment companies, as well as visiting the most significant real estate in Vienna.
REAL VIENNA 2011 this year was limited to two days. Despite the reduction in the duration of the event, participants mention enough efficiency and productivity of the exhibition. Ukraine in the exhibition halls of Vienna was represented by stands of NAI Pickard, Arzinger, Rustler Property Services and others.
Lviv city administration has presented its own stand. In general, the largest scale stands had ERSTE GROUP IMMORENT, Raiffeisen Group, Rustler Property Services, PKF hotel experts, Baku City. The resonant event at exhibition became a municipal stand of the City Counsel of Vienna in cooperation with ERSTE GROUP IMMORENT - General Partner, presented a major renovation project of the South Railway Station, the redevelopment project and other projects aimed at integrated development of city infrastructure. ERSTE GROUP IMMORENT presented a major project in the office segment. The project is the pride of the company, investment in which totaled around 1.5 billion Euros.
Representatives of Ukraine had an excursion to the iconic sites in the Austrian capital, namely IZD Tower, UNIQA Tower, Siemens City, Gerngross City Center. Also the delegation visited the new office of the company Rehau, the construction of which had been used in modern energy-saving materials and technologies, construction site of the new South Railway Station.
The main emphasis in the organization of the tour URE Club has done for business negotiations with the Austrian real estate players. Companies that were determined by the degree of interest in developing projects in the Ukrainian property market. Some companies had experience in the Ukrainian reality and understanding of the market. The second part of the companies admitted willingness to consider development projects in a team with a strong local partner, but need more information about the country risks, understanding the market and its needs. In this regard, was held several meetings with top officials of Austrian companies, such as the Akron Group, Immofinanz, ERSTE GROUP IMMORENT, Rustler Property Services, UNIQA, ThyssenKrupp, Rehau, Siemens, Delta Project Consult. Business tour can safely be called an effective and successful, as some Austrian companies had decided to continue the talks on the territory of Ukraine.
