UREC INNOVATION CONFERENCE 2016

October 7 as a part of the International Expo Forum “Construction, Architecture and Real Estate” URE Club hosted UREC Innovation Conference where architects, developers and representatives of manufacturing companies introduced their latest technologies in construction industry and described their influence on project success and profitability.

The first speaker, a worldwide known architect John Fotiadis (JFA) shared his experience of implementation of innovations on the stage of design while constructing residential complexes in USA. According to Mr. Fotiadis innovation solutions on the stage of design enables the developer to maximize profits.

Olexii Belokon, Royal House presented the technology for residential construction with wall modules which are completely manufactured at the plant and need only precast construction on the construction site.  The technology which gained a number of international awards is both ecological and energy efficient and gives an opportunity to construct high-rise buildings in record time.

Andrii Zadorozhny, Fomalhaut Polimin talked about the latest trends in insulation by means of domestic production and explained how one can minimize energy losses and related expenses using competent insulation. It also increases the overall value of the object.

Another way to get more profit from the same property is competent sound and vibration isolation, which is especially important for the sites near the subway, tram tracks and railway lines.

Andrii Smirnov, Acoustic Traffic LLC performed his case study to show how exactly vibration isolation increases the profitability of the project. And Hennady Nesterenko, Knauf talked about the means of perfect sound isolation and its importance at the design stage.

This year, Ukrainian developers first came to the necessity of implementing "green" technologies in construction, which they consider to be a significant a competitive position. Thus, performing a case study about office and residential complex Signature, Volodymyr Bandura, CFO at Signature Management said that it’s going to be the first residential project in Ukraine certified according to BREEAM standards. While presenting BC ASTARTA which is already certificated according to BREEAM, Ivan Pugolovkin explained what kind of changes ought to be done for the project to meet the required standards.

Another high-tack technology successfully cracking Ukrainian real estate market is “smart home” technology. Tymofiy  Gavrylyuk, Home Systems talked about how the system works and what are the main benefits for the residents on the concrete example of RC Vlasna Kvartyra.
